Speaking with God

Communication is a two way street: speaking, hearing, responding. How do we communicate with God?

Speaking with God (communication)

God created the brain or mind to have language, al kinds of language: verbal and written, musical with its scale, mathematical with its formulae and universal body languages (facial expressions, stance, hand gestures, walking, sitting, movements of appendages) as some say supersedes verbal language is learned.

Language development to say it correctly, communicate your thought to another’s way of thinking. Following directions proves communication.

Learn new languages all the time: different people speak differently from others, news, new words and God’s Words-all the nuances and depth of meaning.

He works now in forming the character of His People and all people in other ways.

Communicate in a language both understand: English to English, not English to Italian. Have to have a medium to communicate wire to wire, mobile to mobile, wire to mobile by mobile connecting to a facility to translate to wire. Speak about what is common knowledge: sunlight gives light and heat, everybody knows that. God said, “Light.” Common knowledge, almost all know. Water, plants, animals, etc. All know. Things in the heavens. The more people learn about the creation the more they understand its interaction and complexity: had to be created.

Need a channel to speak: air, wire, mobile. If you call a “wrong number,” you will not communicate, i.e., talk in the same language to the right person, like the right channel on TV.

New Information needs a lot of old information to be understood. In reading it is context to get a meaning of work not known before or an idea never heard of. This means that plus this.

God always gives a lot of old information with some new for the new to be understood.

Communication needs a response: sunlight turns a plant. Music encourages a voice or a dance. In word communication, of course, the response is a reply or a following a direction.

Noise

The laws of nature: cause and effect, this to that. Gravity keeps things down, but also pulls things down from above. Several forces can keep things up, helium in a balloon, pressure on the air under a wing.

Rom. 1:19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.
Rom. 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

Rom. 2:14 Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it.

1Pet. 3:4 but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.

Rom. 7:22 For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man,

Heb. 10:16 “THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM
AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD:
I WILL PUT MY LAWS UPON THEIR HEART,
AND ON THEIR MIND I WILL WRITE THEM,”
He then says,

2Cor. 3:3 being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
2Cor. 3:4 ¶ Such confidence we have through Christ toward God.
2Cor. 3:5 Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,
