The Power of the Gospel

Why is the gospel is proclaimed? What happens after it is proclaimed?

Eph. 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

1Th. 1:5 for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.

Rom. 15:19 in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and round about as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

2Cor. 6:7 in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left,

2Tim. 2:1 ¶ You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus,

Eph. 6:10 ¶ Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.

Eph. 1:22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,
Eph. 1:23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

Acts 10:44 ¶ While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message.

to another, distinguishing between spirits,
to another, different kinds of languages,
to another, interpretation of languages.

1Cor. 2:5 so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.
