The Power behind the Word |
||||||||
We have often talked about the power of the Word. Let us dig deeper into that power. In the beginning, created God…how? We know. Gen. 1:3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 1John 1:5 ¶ This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. Illuminates both physically and, more importantly, spiritually. It maintains and promotes life physically and spiritually. Is. 60:19 “No longer will you have the sun for light by day, Num. 11:23 The LORD said to Moses, “Is the LORD’S power limited? Now you shall see whether My word will come true for you or not.” Light exerts a physical pressure on objects in its path. This is explained by the particle nature of light in which photons strike and transfer their momentum. Light pressure is equal to the power of the light beam divided by the speed of light. The effect of light pressure is negligible for everyday objects. For example, you can lift a coin with laser pointers, but it would take 1 billion of them to do it. Light pressure can cause asteroids to spin faster by working on them like wind pushing a windmill.
