God Exists

The religious people think that God exists and probably is the Creator. They go to science as the source of understanding how the universe and the Earth came into being. Seven-day creation, nonsense! Big bang and billions of years, of course; even though the big bang has come under question in science. Science is not interested in how the substance and energy of the world came into existence; so they go from there. We learned in the seminary that science is not only not a friend of religion but also its enemy, out to prove that churches do not have any truth in them and that they must also prove there is no God and the Bible is just a story. A bad story!

One of the classes at the seminary contained a history of a relationship of God and the Bible to science. During the Middle Ages, also known as the Dark Ages, the Catholic Church had developed some corruption in certain areas, had great control of over European countries and gave religion a bad name as the Middle Ages came to an end opening up a new era of searching for and learning new things, the age of enlightenment. During this period, Luther broke away from the Church. The new science vowed then, and that underlying vow now, was to disprove the old and new Church, the Bible and God’s existence.

Doubt of God’s existence as the only Eternal Creator began with the serpent’s question paraphrased as, did God say. With time after that people chose the demon and its ways as their god. People seemed to want a god or someone or thing to worship; something greater than they because, perhaps, the world’s existence is far beyond their capability and overwhelming in its power. The sun’s heat, the wind’s power, the rain’s drenching, and the life around them from plants to animals, unknown to them was the microscopic world.

The Big Bang and evolution were the major element of “proofs” that said forget about God and religion. Few reject these major scientific principals and come to deem God, if He exists, at most irrelevant.

Both scientific principles have been disputed, but science rejects these disputations, not always successfully.

The web today has much information about how the science is wrong. Some small radical groups have no trust in science. Some groups reject the “science of drugs” and heal in other ways until their ways fail in instances and they revert to ways of medicine, the ways of the world. Religious people must be very careful about science because of its motivation.

However, the scientific method cannot be disputed because an experiment must be proven to work. An airplane flies because it relies on scientific laws, these laws, of course, were created by God and discovered by people. Telephones and the Internet work because of the laws of IT, information technology. Science is constantly amazed by nature, like understanding volcano, and they try to understand its nature.

The Science of Information Technology Created and Used by God

If a religious person chooses God as the Creator, he must also choose the Bible. But, can the Bible be trusted as God’s Word, not some ancient writings of some men. We have talked about linguistics (many web sites explain in detail how linguistics prove the Bible’s authenticity and pagan noise additions). The basis of linguistics is how communication occurs using mathematics and the scientific method. Redundancy and consistency show how one can know the message, such as the Bible, is accurate because the same words or ideas are repeated many times, many, many times. The few ideas that go against the consistency are called noise, obstruction or interference that try to invalidate the message for whatever the reason, or by accident. Several consistencies exist in the Bible: He is the Lord God and supreme Sovereign (first Commandment) being the only eternal One and Creator (a thousand times) and keeping His Ten Commandments (hundreds of times). Many more consistencies exist, but these are a good start.

There are a few inconsistencies that have been added to the Bible that fail to meet the criteria of redundancy. Most religions use these inconsistencies as a basis for a faith apart from God’s overwhelming preponderance of His Truth. The most powerful pagan inconsistency is the fiction of a virgin birth; pagans believed no great person could be fully human but come by a god impregnating a virgin. Perseus and Hercules are the most famous people of a “virgin” birth. Not so famous are the hundreds of warriors and kings considered to be of virgin birth because no human could be so great. That pagan belief was still strong hundreds of years before and after Jesus’ time. Making Jesus a person of a virgin birth of God made him greater than any other “humans” according to pagan mythology. Somehow this noise, completely inconsistent with the rest of the Bible, became a part of the Bible put together, many consider, around the age of Constantine at the Council of Nicaea. At that council, they finally agreed to the divinity of Jesus, like all the great men of the past. The power of paganism finally infiltrated the Bible they compiled.

Historically, Constantine, as you know, had a dream of a cross as being a powerful sign; he later used a big cross at the head of his army, which was great indeed anyway and the army won a great victory; Constantine converted but could not convince the Empire to convert also. They would not give up the feast of Saturnalia, as you know. Constantine’s ministers found a way to convert the Empire by ignoring the Holy Days of “Judaism”, by catering to the Roman idolatrous practices and holy days. They probably assumed that if they changed the name of Saturnalia to Christmas that would make it Christian. And, amazingly Rome converted to this different and novel “Christianity.” “What’s in a name?” So also, what’s in a date? God’s Holy Days were ignored and the new pagan were introduced, on different dates as well, the pagan days, Christmas instead of Tabernacles, Easter instead of Passover and Halloween instead of… well, uh? Christmas, Saturnalia, permeates the Romanesque world as the most important religious festival, even when people do not do the “religious” aspect of the day, just the gift giving (and getting) and party aspects, which were main aspects of Saturnalia.

Let us examine, then, what the Bible says consistently about God, expunging the noise. The Bible says God is Good and Upright over two hundred times specifically and many more times inferentially. All practices of religious groups that do not adhere to God’s righteous commandments and do adhere to pagan ways do not please God or become stamped by His “imprimatur.” Like Rome, claiming to be Christian and saying so, does not make it so. Ignoring Rome and Nicaea, let us go back to the thrilling days of yesteryear when consistency ruled.

So then after several hundred times talking about God as Good and Righteous, let examine this important observation of God.

God made man in His image, not Saturn’s, Zeus’ and Jupiter’s who are some of the demon’s pseudonyms, and told him, us, how to live up to our human potential, which is far greater than Perseus and the like. God says that His Word, His Law, the Ten Commandments and testimony, will teach us how to live according to our underlying greatness.

Psa. 25:8 ¶ Good and upright is the LORD;
         Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.
Psa. 25:9 He leads the 1humble in justice,
         And He teaches the 1humble His way.
Psa. 25:10 All the paths of the LORD are loving-kindness and truth
         To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
Psa. 25:11 For your name’s sake, O LORD,
         Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
Psa. 25:12 Who is the man who fears the LORD?
         He will instruct him in the way he should choose.

Scripture continues to show us about God’s uprightness and faithfulness. Therefore, we can participate in this greatness.

Psa. 33:4 For the word of the LORD is upright,
         And all His work is done bin faithfulness.

Psa. 92:15 To 1declare that the LORD is upright;
         He is my brock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

Psa. 119:137 ¶ Righteous are You, O LORD,
         And upright are Your judgments.

God spoke to us of His righteous just as He said, “let there be light,” in the creation. Therefore, we can see the power available to those who walk in God’s righteousness. One simple way to trust God’s Word is noticing the sun’s light.

Is. 45:19 “I have not spoken in secret,
         In 1some dark land;
         I did not say to the offspring of Jacob,
         ‘Seek Me in waste place’;
         I, the LORD, speak righteousness,
         Declaring things that are upright.

Deut. 32:4 “The Rock! His work is perfect,
         For all His ways are just;
         A God of faithfulness and without injustice,
         Righteous and upright is He.

Deut. 32:4 “The Rock! His work is perfect,
         For all His ways are 1just;
         A God of faithfulness and without injustice,
         Righteous and upright is He.

 God Is Righteous

God gave people His Laws and Commandments. As we know we are our language in all its aspects, like music, mathematics, body language and so forth. Therefore, what God says comes from His Being. Therefore, when God says not to commit adultery, He would never have a person impregnated by a holy spirit. Pagan gods do so because their god is the demon, the snake deceiving Eve, and thereby bringing his evil thought to the people who worship it, whether they know it or not.

The words of our mouths come from our minds and soul. The whole of the words of God in a person's mind and spoken aloud enable them to behave righteously, albeit with an occasional misstep, which God will forgive when we forgive.

Deut. 30:11 ¶ “For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach.
Deut. 30:12 “It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’
Deut. 30:13 “Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’
Deut. 30:14 “But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may observe it.

God is the Father of all mankind for He formed Adam and breathed into him the breath of life; God rules not as a king or dictator rejoicing in his power over people who do not fear Him but as a Father who loves His children and trains them in righteousness.

Ezra 9:15 “O LORD God of Israel, You are righteous…

Psa. 7:9 O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous;
         For the righteous God tries the hearts and 1minds.
Psa. 7:11 God is a righteous judge,

2Sam. 23:3 “The God of Israel said,
         The Rock of Israel spoke to me,
         ‘He who rules over men righteously,
         Who rules in the fear of God,

Only those who accept the True God and Creator will keep His Ten Commandments–all Ten and none others–even those written on their hearts.

Ex. 15:26 And He said, “If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes,

Deut. 6:25 “It will be righteousness for us if we are careful to observe all this commandment before the LORD our God, just as He commanded us.

Deut. 12:28 ¶ “Be careful to listen to all these words which I command you, so that it may be well with you and your sons after you forever, for you will be doing what is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.
Deut. 13:18 1if you will listen to the voice of the LORD your God, keeping all His commandments which I am commanding you today, and doing what is right in the sight of the LORD your God.

The blessings given to David, for example, for keeping all God’s Commandments, which is mentioned many times, are available to all who do.

Ex. 20:6 but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
Is. 48:18 “If only you had paid attention to My commandments!
         Then your well-being would have been like a river,
         And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

These are some of the blessings God gives to those who love Him, demonstrated by their keeping the Commandments. (1 John 5: 3)

Psa. 19:8 The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
         The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Psa. 119:172 Let my tongue sing of Your 1word,
         For all Your commandments are righteousness.

The righteous God commands believers to keep His holy Law and Commandments.

Luke 1:6 They were both righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and requirements of the Lord.

Rom. 7:12 So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.

Many astute people would try to prove that the Commandments, or some of them, are done away with or changed. Peter has a word for them.

2Pet. 2:21 For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.

Psa. 7:9 O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous;
         For the righteous God cries the hearts and minds.
Psa. 7:11 God is a righteous judge,
         And a God who has indignation every day.

The great and abundant blessing from Our Father in Heaven is the ability to know and keep His righteousness, the Law and Commandments.

Psa. 24:5 He shall receive a blessing from the LORD
         And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Psa. 48:10 As is Your name, O God,
         So is Your praise to the ends of the earth;
         Your right hand is full of righteousness.

Just as we have noted elsewhere on the site, the Commandments of righteousness are built into the very Creation. Just look around to see God’s righteousness, which disputes, as well, the craven lies (noise) added to Word, but never became a part God’s Truth nonetheless.

Psa. 50:6 And the heavens declare His righteousness,
         For God Himself is judge.

Law and Righteousness

Deut. 4:8 “Or what great nation is there that has statutes and judgments as righteous as this whole law which I am setting before you today?

Psa. 119:142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,
         And Your law is truth.
Is. 42:21 The LORD was pleased for His righteousness’ sake
         To make the law great and glorious.

Covenant and Righteousness

Keeping God’s Law of Righteousness cannot save a person because no one, except Jesus, never missed the mark (sinned). Therefore, believing that Jesus is the Messiah who died for sins saves people. By that faith, God makes people righteous by putting His Law into a person’s mind and heart to do it.

Heb. 8:10 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel.
         After those days, says the lord:
         I will put my laws into their minds,
         And I will write them bon their hearts.
         And I will be their God,
         And they shall be my people.

All who refuse to believe in and keep the whole Law and Commandments (not making an occasional mistake as saints do) do not love God and are not saved.

1John 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of Him.
1John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and 1observe His commandments.
1John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

Amen.
